Brooklyn Rehab

200902162039.jpg

Call me weird, but there is something strangely appealing about these porcelain mushrooms and miniature gnomes from BROOKLYNrehab. Designed and hand made by New York fashion designer Alyssa Zygmunt, these little curiosities are popping up in the most unlikely places like Bloomingdales windows. If you think you’ve got just the place for one of these little porcelain exotics the good news is it will put you out less than $20.

Available from BROOKLYNrehab’s Etsy shop for $14 – $18.

What do you think, gorgeous, hideous, just plain weird?

Creede is a frugal design junkie. He loves miminamist and mid-century influences and often finds himself with a hammer and drill in hand in order to achieve the style he wants without breaking the bank.

I came across BROOKLYNrehab’s Etsy shop a couple weeks ago, and it really grew on me. The more I looked the more I liked. Thanks for the article on them!

Stem cell research gone awry/ mushrooms ARE weird.
I love them because they are…but the troll…minimalist tchotsky?

Actually, I think a coffee table arrangement of various odd mushroom species would be really beautiful in a mountain/woodland home.
