Way Back When: Streamline Baby Stroller

This beautiful stroller was designed in the 50′s by Giordani. It’s an absolute work of art as far as I am concerned. They sure don’t make them like they used to.

Creede is a frugal design junkie. He loves miminamist and mid-century influences and often finds himself with a hammer and drill in hand in order to achieve the style he wants without breaking the bank.

    Way cool-looking. But it also looks like it weighs a ton, and wouldn’t give a very smooth ride to the baby. A modern version could probably be made (from recycled aluminum cans? and with shocks) without sacrificing the design.

    i couldn’t agree more that it’s a total work of art. we had a quinny stroller and would get stopped all the time from folks asking who designed it and where we bought it. if this were re-introduced, i can’t imagine how much attention it would get!
