Vintage Glove Molds

This may seem incredibly random, but I couldn’t help but think how fascinating these vintage glove molds would be as decorative pieces. Am I crazy? Would you put these in your house as part of your decor?

    I actually really like them Capree. I don’t know if I would drop 30 bones on them, but if I came across them on the cheap I would pick them up. I like the white ones best too.

    Anyone else love or hate them?

    They aren’t for me, but the white ones esp. have a nice sculptural quality about them, and would probably also make a great place to hang necklaces, or store rings on those fingers.

    I have one of the white molds, bought in a junk shop for $8. It’s on my dresser with necklaces draped across it. I love that it actually had a job but also looks so modernly sculptural. It creeps my husband out.

    I love them. The white kind were recently featured in a shop by my house — they were in the window as I walked to work all summer and now I’m obsessed with them. Viva Decoratus Absurdum!

    I think I’ve seen them in quite a few Apartmenttherapy-tours and even once in Domino magazine. I’d put them in my house but my husband hates them and I agree with Creede that 30 dollars is too much.
