Palm Springs

The family and I are heading down to Palm Springs today to check out all the amazing MCM architecture. Make sure you follow us on Twitter later today for a live tour of all our great finds.
Any thing we absolutely need to see or do while in Palm Springs?

Creede is a frugal design junkie. He loves miminamist and mid-century influences and often finds himself with a hammer and drill in hand in order to achieve the style he wants without breaking the bank.

Be sure to check out the Falls Martini Bar on Palm Canyon Rd. They make a mean martini. Matchbox – which is next door has great pizza. Pictures from my time in PS here: http://quadrilleblog.blogspot.com/2008/12/california-dreaming.html

Make sure and visit the DWR in Palm Springs. It is part Annex (Outlet) where you can pick up discontinued items and returns at a bargain. I picked up some brand new Flying Vee shelves, originally $80 for $5! Its a must visit!

Take the tour and you will see all the amazing MCM architecture and fully understand it’s history. It was the highlight of our PS trip. Email Robert at psmoderntours@aol.com or call (760) 318-6118. He is very knowledgeable of all things PS modern.

Good tip Gabe! I checked it out and there were some good deals, just nothing I had to have.
